We have a good relationship with the local Church and Chapel.  Although this is not a Church School, the Rev. Peter Garner comes into school to take assembly often.  We greatly value the contribution that Mr. Garner makes to the moral and spiritual education of our children.  Other assemblies are taken by the teachers and children.  Assemblies and Religious Education lessons are non-denominational and mainly based on Christian teaching.

It is the intention to further the children's understanding of the Bible and their Christian heritage and to foster their awareness of the needs and beliefs of others.  Under the 1944 Education Act, parents have the right to withdraw their children from assemblies and Religious Education lessons.  They should inform the school if they wish to exercise their right.
